| An underexposed image | 
This can be fixed very easily and fast.
Step 1: Open the image

| First open the image | 
Step 2: Duplicate the layer

| Drag the first layer onto "New Layer", or Ctrl + J | 
Step 3: Edit the layer filter

| Next to the "Layer Opacity" will be a drop down menu, choose "Screen". |

| The image should now look like this. | 
And that is how it is done, very easy, and very fast.
